Hardcore conditioning

Hardcore, don't make me laugh,

and laugh is what I do every time some wannabe, excuse-making, wish upon a star, gym-mouse says "if I did 8 years I would look like that to". BULL$#%&!!!

Hardcore is a word that is thrown around a little too easily these days, The definition of hardcore is: extreme and unlikely to change. Wow I never knew that, so I guess they are right "unlikely to change" yup they look like shit and will keep on looking like shit. They are hardcore. Hahahahahahaha.

Wait, let me get hold of myself.

Hardcore among gym warriors is a way of life. It doesn’t mean "I go to the gym everyday". No it means I go to #$&^*#@ battle every day. Remember the gladiators. They were the original weight trainers. They are who we are chasing. They marched for days on end. Then fought for their lives. For what, because that’s who they were.

Today if you don’t push yourself like there is no tomorrow, you're not hardcore. If you don’t go to battle, you’re not hardcore. If you have to think about it, you’re not hardcore. Want to know about hardcore. If you were locked up you would be jacked. #$&^*#@ look in the mirror and lie to your face because when lie to mine you make me sick. It's raining out, I got a good spot for my car, and my partner can’t make it, there 2 feet of snow on the ground.

Oh yeah, well I had to go to the yard, IN THE SNOW, and shovel out the weights. Then we lifted frozen #$&^*#@ iron. IN the snow, in the rain, we even did metabolic shuttles on frozen basketball courts.

Imagine doing sprints back and forth in 10 below with ice on the floor. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS? HARDCORE and its something 8, 10, or even 20 won't give you. It has nothing to do with the time; it has to do with who you are.

If you can't get it done with everything at your disposal, you can't get it done anywhere. Do you know how you add weight in the yard? With the lightest dumbbell attached with shoelace to the bar.

That’s hardcore. Not that 1 ¼ you just added. Remember this until you get hit you're not a fighter.

This section is going to be about getting right.
The best possible shape that you can get in.

I’m a bodybuilder at heart, and I love looking good. But when I’m on the Stairmaster and I’m running it there is no feeling like it in the world.

To steal a line from my man J.C. Santana lets "Out last them all". By that I mean. Your kids, your wife shopping, your co-workers, everybody. Take the fighters mentality and (here is another J.C. line) be the last one standing. There will always be a spot for you in whatever you do if you are RIGHT.
